Will it work for the subject I teach?

AI coaching suits any subject where learners have to apply what you teach to their own situation - leadership, giving feedback, difficult conversations, negotiation, sales, career development. You describe the coaching model, the questions you'd ask and the tone you'd take, and the coach follows that rather than a generic script. Won't it just give learners the answers?

Only if you tell it to. You set how the coach behaves - a reflective coach that helps learners think it through, a more challenging one that tests their reasoning, or both for learners to choose between. The coach asks, probes and reflects back, so learners reach their own next step. Learners can also ask for a hint when they're stuck.

How do I stop the AI coaching in a way I wouldn't?

You write the coach's instructions in your own words - the model it follows, the questions it favours, what it should never do - and you set the tone. You can draft from your existing training materials, then edit, and you can have a coaching conversation yourself and read the feedback before any learner sees it, adjusting until it sounds like you.
